Authoring: Writing, Developing, Implementing

I am a trained and experienced journalist and project manager. To date, I have written as a freelance author on topics including innovation, worked as an editor for a financial news agency and served as a project manager both in the development and optimization of business processes and functions for companies as well as in the implementation of cultural projects.

As a journalist and author I take my freedom in choosing topics - however, my current areas of focus include:

These topics also play a special role for me as a project manager.

 For me, my two activities - writing, being an author, and authoring on the one hand, and project management on the other hand - are not necessarily separate spheres. Rather, I see both activities as the starting point and the end point of a single, exciting, creative process. This process begins with research, reflection, and writing as means of critical reporting and information, as well as for developing and formulating ideas - and it culminates in project management as the means to implement a thought or idea and bring it to life.

Thoughts, ideas, visions, and wishes come true when they are developed into tangible and realistic goals and plans and when they get translated into feasible projects. This is the process by which an idea becomes a plan and, in the process, is equipped with resources, a timeline and funding. It makes no difference whatsoever in which field an idea or thought is developed and then implemented through a project. The basic process always remains the same: researching, reflecting critically, writing, and thereby defining thoughts or ideas; developing a project based on a developed thought or idea and then implementing it.

Against this backdrop, I view my work as an author and the process of authoring - on a case-by-case basis - not solely as writing or media design, but occasionally also as being the author of ideas and projects, and thus of new initiatives, events, services, solutions, and approaches.

Within this framework, I do not view content as limited to texts, images and other media content but also include processes, apps, and other technical solutions, services, events, applications, and products as content.

I therefore have a very broad understanding of authorship and content - and consequently of my work as an author, content creator or contributor to content. In this context, my areas of expertise - research and writing, project development, and project management - form a logical whole as a service and contribution, whereby each of the three activities can also be requested from me individually and separately as needed.
